Alex Nestor has 24 years of international experience in project management, engineering, construction, fabrication and sales in the mining, metallurgical and petrochemical industries. Alex commenced work for Dundee Chelopech and Krumovgrad projects as the Senior Manager of the project management group in late 2003 and is responsible for various aspects of the Definitive Feasibility Studies for Krumovgrad and Chelopech, such as: EIA and SIA (Environmental and Social Impact Assessments), geotechnical investigations for the new tailings management facility, permit and archaeological studies, various capital works projects.

Prior to that Alex managed several investment projects for Umicore Copper in Pirdop, Bulgaria. He supervised and controlled budget costs and time schedules, enforced contract agreements, prepared requests for bids, supervised bid evaluations, interfaced with production, procurement and maintenance, co-ordinated the work of various contractors. His project experience and fluency in several languages have led him to work in the USA, Canada, Russia, Kazakstan and Bulgaria.

Alex has an M.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vroclav, Poland. He has been a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario, Canada, since 1984 and of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers since 1986.
