Nickolay Hristov has a Masters Degree in Mineral Processing from the University of Mining and Geology in Sofia and received his PhD from the same university in the study of material grinding mechanisms.

His professional interests range from the field of engineering, mineral processing and especially grinding technologies to environmental protection and sustainable development. He is an author and co-author of a number of publications in mineral processing and has developed several research projects. Nicky’s professional experience has been gained at Chelopech Mining EAD, where he worked as a metallurgist prior to taking responsibilities for plant operation, production quality and costs.
