Rob has over 27 years of extensive engineering experience gained predominantly in Australia. Qualified as a motor mechanic and then studying as a mechanical engineer, his career has worked as Mechanical Engineer in various environments and with expanding responsibilities within the mining industry.

Later as Engineering Superintendent for Stawell Gold Mine Pty Ltd., Rob was responsible for mechanical and electrical engineering support and coordination of a large number of people. Prior to joining Chelopech Mining EAD he was Maintenance Manager CMA for Roche Mining Pty.,Ltd. Century Mining Alliance (CMA). As such Rob, developed planned maintenance structure, was responsible for enhancement of safety first and “Zero Harm” for maintenance alliance and site contractor management teams as well as establishment and embedding of the maintenance strategy and culture within the maintenance teams.

Rob also acted as Alliance Manager on occasions. Rob has training under the following Maintenance Management Systems: BHAMMS - Maintenance Management Program; SAP R3 ver4-6; JD Edwards maintenance management program; Sidearm, MP2 Maintenance planning System; SKF Prism Jr. Bearing Vibration and Picolog vibration data collector. Rob is currently completing the Masters of Maintenance Management by external studies.
