Simon Meik is a qualified Metallurgist with 30 years of postgraduate and industrial experience worldwide including: fundamental research; laboratory and pilot plant testing; mineral processing plant design; feasibility studies; plant commissioning; study, project and plant operations management in copper, zinc/lead, gold/silver, and tin operations and projects; applications of unit processes and equipment selection in many aspects of small and large mineral processing plants.

Simon has been employed in Bulgaria to assist with the development of the assets acquired by Dundee Precious Metals Inc. in 2003, including the Chelopech operation and the AdaTepe gold prospect.

Simon holds a PhD in Minerals Engineering from Birmingham, England and has been involved in the management of mineral processing projects in Canada (Minnovex Technologies), Spain (Los Frailes Boliden Apirsa), Chile (Minera Escondida Ltda), Peru (Cuajone Concentrator), the USA, etc. He is a member of the Society of Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration Inc.(SME), USA.
